Liked · What a beautiful atmospheric B&B! We stayed in the Tower Suite and really thought we were back in time. The room and its bathroom were very spacious and decorated with attention to detail. But equipped with all modern comforts! Dinner and breakfast were well served and Veena and Nick were perfect hosts. Really recommended!

Liked · Vena and Nick were incredible hosts – kind, helpful and professional. The breakfasts were excellent but what really impressed us was the option of an evening meal as well! The weather during our August stay was rainy and cool, so we wanted nothing more than to cozy up inside with a few drams of local whisky and a hot meal-without worrying about driving. Isla Bank offers a vast selection of whisky as well as a wonderful red wine – the beverages and meals surpassed our expectations! But that’s just the service – the accommodation itself was beyond anything we could have hoped for: the common rooms are gorgeous, the bedrooms are spacious and very well appointed, the beds are SO comfortable and the soaker bath offers the ultimate in luxury. My only regret is that we didn’t plan to stay longer than 2 evenings. Should we have the opportunity to visit Scotland in the future, we’ll most definitely plan to spend a few nights at Isla Bank!

We totally understand why this venue has so many brilliant reviews ! The house is quirky and full of character. The hosts were absolutely delightful and were so keen to facilitate our stay ! A flask of fresh milk was supplied for the in room kettle, toiletries could be supplied if required and there was an amusing, but necessary, note in the bathroom informing one that the water would take up to 4 minutes to arrive ( not a problem when one is forewarned! ) Based on the delicious well cooked breakfast our only regret is that we didn’t take up the opportunity to eat dinner there the previous evening. If in the area, we d certainly return to this establishment.

Nick and Vena have the most beautiful Guest House. A very warm welcome awaits you, where nothing is a problem. A fabulous place to stay. A delightful setting, that delivers on comfort and peaceful restfulness. Certainly the very best Guest House experience I have ever had. Nick and Vena are more than happy to share their knowledge of the surrounding area. A must stay if you are ever near Keith.

Liked · From the initial booking Vena and Nick connected and were very helpful regarding our stay and request to store our bikes. Even on our arrival day we received a text to say looking forward to us staying. That personal touch is something that makes a guest feel special. The house is fabulous, steeped in history and the facilities were luxurious yet retained the character of the building. As a keen gardener it was a joy to be shown around the walled garden, where Nick and Vena grow a variety of fruits and vegetables to use in their seasonal fare. The cottage garden and grounds are also a pleasure to stroll around.

Gorgeous BnB located next to Strathisla Distillery. Nick and Vena are thoughtful hosts who see to your needs before you realize you have any. The meals were delicious-try the curry, yum! If Isla Bank House l is available, book it. Don’t miss out on staying here!
