General Terms and Conditions

PRICES
For bed & breakfast reservations, the price given is a room rate and includes accommodation, breakfast, private parking and Wifi. For Self-Catering reservations, the stated price is for the exclusive use of the whole cottage or apartment, private parking and Wifi but does not include any meals. Additional purchases from reception, from the restaurant or from the bar can be paid for by banker’s card of cash at point of sale or can be added to your bill to be paid at the end of the meal or when checking out.

Private parking is within the grounds and is free during your stay but is entirely at your own risk.

CHILDREN
Isla Bank House does not cater for children.

SMOKING
Isla Bank House is a strictly non-smoking establishment. If any evidence of smoking is found inside the house guests will be asked to leave immediately and will be liable for the full cost of their stay. In addition to this an excess of up to £250 will be charged to cover the cost of any necessary deep cleaning.

PETS
We regret that we do not accept any pets at Isla Bank House. It is also NOT acceptable to bring your dog and leave them in your car in our carpark.

CANCELLATION
If you need to cancel your stay, please contact us as soon as possible.

Your reservation fees are fully refundable up to 14-days before the date of arrival. After this time reservations are non-refundable.

In the unlikely event that Isla Bank House cancels your reservation we will refund 100% of your reservation fee. Isla Bank House’s liability does not extend beyond this refund.

ARRIVAL
Check-in is between 5:00pm and 8pm. We don’t check anyone into the property before 5pm but are happy to arrange later check-ins by appointment only. If you have not arrived by 10pm and have not updated us your fee will be forfeit and we will record you as a no-show. YOU WILL NOT BE CHECKED-IN AFTER 10pm

DEPARTURE
On your day of departure, you are required to check-out by 10am at the latest unless otherwise arranged.

DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES
Please take care when staying at Isla Bank House. The house is furnished with a great many antiques, and you are responsible and liable for any breakages and damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report any spills, damages or breakages as soon as they occur, and we will endeavour to avoid any permanent damage or cost for you. If we are unable to do so, then we will make a reasonable charge for the repair or replacement of the item.

A charge of £20 will be levied for replacement room keys should the need arise.
A charge may be made if, after vacating the property, additional cleaning is required beyond what would be reasonably expected, or if items such as towels, pillows, books or robes have been removed from the accommodation without permission.

LIABILITY
Isla Bank House does not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions.
