General Terms and Conditions

Prices
Prices given are a room rate and include accommodation, breakfast, private parking and Wifi. Additional purchases can be made from the website and paid for in advance. Private parking is within the grounds and is free during your stay but is entirely at your own risk.

Health declaration

For all of our health and safety we will not permit access to any guest who has not completed and returned the Isla Bank House Health Declaration

Children
We accept children over 8 years of age.

Smoking
Isla Bank House is a strictly non-smoking property and booking with us is an acceptance of this policy. Any guest found smoking or to have smoked within the house will be asked to leave immediately and will be liable for the full cost of their stay. In addition to this an excess of £150 will be charged to cover the cost of deep cleaning.

Pets
We regret that we do not accept pets at Isla Bank House.

Cancellation and Insurance
If you need to cancel your stay please contact us as soon as possible.
A full refund is available up to 7 days before arrival.  Within seven days, a voucher will be issued and will be valid for 24 months.

We would recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover you in the event of a cancellation.

Non-availability of accommodation
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation of a similar standard. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Isla Bank House’s liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival
Check-in is after 5pm and is not flexible at this time.  Guests should call ahead to confirm arrival time.

Departure
On your day of departure check-out is before 11am unless otherwise arranged.

Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying at Isla Bank House. The house is furnished with a great many antiques and you are responsible and liable for any breakages and damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report any spills, damages or breakages as soon as they occur and we will endeavour to avoid any permanent damage. If we are unable to do so then we may need make a charge for repair if the damage or breakage is significant.
A charge may be made if, after vacating the property, additional cleaning is required beyond what would be reasonably expected, or if items such as towels, pillows, books or robes have been removed from the accommodation.
