When can I check-in?
Check in time is after 5pm. Due to strict cleaning protocols we can’t book you in or store your luggage before this time.

How do I pay?
Valid credit or debit card details are required to secure a booking with us. Booking with us directly guarantees the best price and the most flexible negotiations if you have to change your booking.

When do I need to check out?
Check out is by 11:00am on the morning of departure.

Do you offer late check-outs?
Yes, if your room has not already been booked then for an extra £20 our late check out option allows you to keep your room till 2:30pm on the day of departure, please ask for details.

Are you following the Scottish Government Guidelines to keep guests safe?
Yes.  We are ‘GOOD TO GO’ accredited and the Tourism Inspector reported to us that she had no recommendations to make; we have covered it all.  Everything you need to know is (HERE)

What’s your Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or alter your booking, please inform us as soon as possible by email to or return to the booking service you used to make the reservation. Our Cancellation Policy is simple, you will have a full refund if you cancel up to 7 days before arrival.  Below 7 days we will offer you a voucher to the equivalent value which is valid for 2 years. This policy also applies to Coivid-19 related cancellations. We no longer charge admin fees to move your booking and we always advise guests to take out travel insurance, to cover against the cost of cancellation.

Are children welcome at the B&B?
Yes, children over 8 years of age are welcome. If the child requires an additional bed then there is a charge for this.

Can we book the whole house?
Yes.  All three suites and private lounges and dining rooms can be booked exclusively for one group.  Simply give us a call on 07840 845545.

Do you welcome pets?
No. Sorry, at this time we do not permit pets in the house.

Is there free WIFI?
Yes.  We have fast and reliable Satellite Broadband throughout the house.

Are there TVs in the rooms?
No.  We haven’t put TVs in the rooms.  Guests have consistently told us that they don’t use them.

Are the suites en-suite?
Yes.  The Isla and Woods suites are en-suite.  The Tower, our most expensive suite, has a huge private bathroom.  All en-suites have baths.

Do you have a Honeymoon Suite?
Yes. The Tower suite is situated in its own wing of Isla Bank House and is perfect for honeymooners, romantic breaks and anyone else enjoying a special break. Order a bucket of champagne for the perfect romantic start to your visit.

Do you offer evening meals?
Yes.  We have a small selection of simple evening meals which can be booked in advance. When you reserve a room we will send you all the information about what’s available.

Are you licensed to sell alcohol?
Yes.  We are fully licensed to sell alcohol

Can I stay in the B&B all day?
Yes.  You don’t have to go out if you don’t want to.  Stay, relax and enjoy.

Can I do my washing during my stay?
Yes.  We recommend Elgin Express Cleaners.  Give them a call on 01343551315/556305
At this time, we cannot do your laundry for you.

Do I have to share a restaurant with other guests?
No. Each suite has its own exclusive private dining room and lounge.
