Information Privacy (GDPR) Policy

Requirement
We are required under the European Union ‘General Data Protection Regulations’ (GDPR) to have a Privacy Policy which governs the information we hold about you, and how we use it.

What information do we hold?
If you have stayed with us at Isla Bank House (or, in some circumstances, made a booking and cancelled it) we will hold some or all of the following information about you: Name, Postal Address (including post code/zip code and country), Telephone Number, Mobile (cell) phone number, e-mail address, vehicle registration.

What are our legal bases for holding that information?

Consent: We may hold that information up to and during your stay with us as a requirement of the services you have requested. We may then keep your information beyond this only through your consent, for example when you tick a box to receive e-mail updates or promotions.

Obligations: We will require your personal data to handle your booking and may be required to collect or process some information in order to comply with legal obligations.

How do we use that information?
We use the information for our own records so that we know who stayed with us at Isla Bank House, and when. We do not share that information with anybody except as we may be required to do so by law.
If you have given your consent under the ‘General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) we may use that information to contact you occasionally with news, information or offers from Isla Bank House.

How do we store that information?
The information is held on a secure digital database. We take reasonable steps to ensure that there is no unauthorised access to that data.

What are your rights?
You have the right to know what information we hold about you, and the purposes for which we use it. Where that information is being held by reason of your consent, you have the right to ask for that information to be removed from our database.
