Built in the late 1880’s as an elegant family home Isla Bank House sits at the heart of an enclosed 5 acre garden on the edge of Keith village in the Scottish Highlands. In the past it has been a popular place to stay and experience all that the area has to offer from many of the most popular ‘Whisky Trail’ attractions to the stunning Moray coastline and charming fishing villages which are renowned as some of the best places to view dolphins at play.
Located on the edge of the Cairngorm mountain range, Isla Bank House offers an unparalelled veriety of outdoor activities including fifty miles of unspoilt and ruggedly beautiful walking, climbing, cycling and winter skiing. The area boasts some superb fishing on the Spey and Deveron rivers as well as an 18-hole golf course and swimming-pool just a mile away.
Lying in the heart of distillery country, Isla Bank House is moments away from the popular Strathisla Distillery, while Dufftown, the acclaimed ‘Malt Whisky Capital of the World’, is found just a short distance away and is the home of the Glenfiddich Distillery and ‘The Whisky Shop Dufftown’ which offers a huge selection and unparalelled knowledge of malt whisky.
Isla Bank House is now under new ownership and currently undergoing some renovation but we hope to be open again in the spring of 2019. If you would like to receive updates, event notices and future offers then please Click Here to register your interest.
