Sharks provoke all sorts of reactions from us humans – from fear to fascination to food. They are incredible ocean creatures and this October we are getting to know the sharks that live in British waters – there are over 20 native species and the same number of shark species that travel through our seas.
Join in each day with fun activities, interactive workshops, sharky stories, trails and crafts. There will be expert talks from shark scientists and researchers, as well as the popular shark dissections – a look inside a shark specimen to find out what makes sharks tick and how they’re different from other fish in the sea.
Macduff Marine Aquarium – 20-mins from Isla Bank House

The Midnight Witches Tour
The Witches tour in Elgin will be the Midnight tour this year .
Starting at 11 o’ the clock, join the mob to unmask and trial two witches as they would have been trialled back in the 1600s. Join Sister Ruthless from the Sisters of NO Mercy as we unmask and take to task some witches here in Elgin, (we have received a tip off as to their identity)
Follow the trail of tears and heartbreaking cries to the different points in town where the trials were held. Witness the debauchery and torture as it would have been. Learn a little grusome history en-route.
EVERYONE is encouraged to come in costume, even if you just wear a mask. after all the costumes were originally intended to make the demons think you were one of them, thus you would remain unmolested on the 1 night of the year when spirits and demons are rumoured to roam.
The tour will finish on the stroke of Midnight
£3 per person ALL WELCOME!
